Questions
- What is an ATS?
- An applicant tracking system is the software companies use to collect and search resumes (Workday, Greenhouse, Naukri RMS and others). Recruiters search it by keywords, so a resume it can't read or that lacks the job's keywords is easy to miss.
- Is this an official ATS score?
- No company publishes an official score. This is our checklist of what ATS look for: readable text, standard sections, contact details, clear impact, and the job's keywords. Every point lost comes with the fix.
- Do I need a job description?
- No, but it helps. Without one you get a general score. Paste a job description to also see which of its skills and keywords your resume is missing.
- Will the AI add skills I don't have?
- No. You tick the missing keywords you really have, and the AI adds only those. Numbers in your bullets come from you.
