Privacy Policy

Last Minute Resume ("we", "us") runs lastminuteresume.com, a tool for writing resumes, cover letters and resignation letters. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: lastminuteresumeapp@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account details. Your email address and a password (stored hashed by our authentication provider). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We do not get access to your Gmail, contacts or files.
• Your documents. The resumes, cover letters and resignation letters you write or import, and your conversations with the AI assistant, so you can come back to them.
• Files you upload. When you import a PDF resume, we read its text to fill in your resume.
• Usage and security data. How many AI requests you make each day, to apply plan limits, plus a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to prevent abuse. We do not store your raw IP address for this.
• Payment details. If you buy a paid plan, our payment provider handles your card or other payment details. We never see or store your full card number. We keep your plan, its status and dates.

How we use it

• To run the service: save your documents, sign you in, and create PDFs.
• To provide AI features you ask for, such as writing, rewriting, tailoring to a job, or searching for jobs.
• To apply plan limits, prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
• To send emails you need, such as confirming your address or resetting your password.
• To process payments and refunds.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not show ads, and we do not use your documents to train AI models.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Supabase: database, sign-in and email delivery.
• Vercel: hosting the website and app.
• OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to: when you use an AI feature, the text needed for that request (for example, your resume content and instructions) is sent to generate a reply.
• Google: only if you choose "Continue with Google" to sign in.
• Paddle: our payment provider and merchant of record, which processes purchases, taxes and refunds.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our users and the service.

Google user data

When you sign in with Google, we only request your basic profile (name, email address and picture) and use it only to create and sign in to your account. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not share Google user data with anyone except the service providers above that run our service, and never for advertising.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and documents until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. Usage records for plan limits are kept only as long as needed to apply them and prevent abuse. Payment records may be kept longer where tax or accounting law requires it.

Your choices and rights

• You can view, edit, download and delete your documents at any time in the app.
• To delete your account and all its data, or to ask for a copy of your data, email lastminuteresumeapp@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. We will do it within 30 days.
• Depending on where you live, you may have other rights, such as correcting your data or objecting to how it is used. Contact us and we will help.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS, and each person's documents are protected by access rules so only they can read them. No service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password.

Children

Last Minute Resume is only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has an account, email lastminuteresumeapp@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we make important changes, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know by email or in the app.
